Chrome Extension Privacy Addendum

This addendum to our Privacy Policy (available at
https://www.minded.com/privacy) describes the data collection and usage practices specific to the Minded Workflow Monitor Chrome Extension.

Extension Data Collection

The Minded Workflow Monitor extension collects workflow data only when users explicitly start a recording session. The extension does not collect any data outside of active recording sessions.

Information Collected During Recording Sessions

Web Navigation Data

  • Page URLs and titles
  • Navigation events between pages
  • Tab identifiers (tab IDs, window IDs)

User Interaction Data

  • Click events (including right-click/context menu interactions)
  • Keyboard input and form submissions
  • Text selection events
  • Clipboard events (copy, paste, cut operations — truncated to 500 characters maximum)
  • File download metadata (filename, file size, source URL only — not file contents)

Visual and Audio Data (Optional)

  • Screenshots of the browser window (only if enabled by the user)
  • Audio recordings for voice annotations (only if enabled by the user)

How We Use Extension Data

Data collected through the extension is used exclusively to:

  • Record and document user workflows for robotic process automation (RPA) purposes
  • Enable users to visualize, analyze, and replay their recorded workflows
  • Provide workflow analytics and insights within the Minded platform
  • Improve the Services as described in our main Privacy Policy

Data Storage and Transmission

  • Local Storage: Workflow recordings are initially stored locally in the browser’s IndexedDB until the user chooses to upload them
  • Server Storage: When users upload recordings to their Minded workspace (app.minded.com), data is transmitted securely via HTTPS and stored on Minded servers following generally accepted industry standards
  • Data Association: Uploaded recordings are associated with the user’s account and accessible only within their private Minded workspace
  • Retention: Recording data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, or until the user deletes the recordings

Data Sharing

Workflow recording data collected by the extension is subject to the same sharing practices described in our main Privacy Policy at
https://www.minded.com/privacy:

  • We do not sell personal information and have not sold personal information
  • Data may be shared with affiliates, agents, representatives, and service providers as necessary to provide the Services
  • Data belongs to the user and their organization
  • We may disclose information during reorganization, merger, consolidation, acquisition, or any form of sale

User Control and Data Deletion

Local Control

  • Users can delete local recordings at any time through the extension interface
  • Users have complete control over when recording starts and stops

Server Control

  • Users can delete uploaded recordings from their Minded workspace at any time
  • California residents have additional rights under CCPA/CPRA as described in our main Privacy Policy

Data Deletion Requests

  • To request complete deletion of extension data, contact support@minded.com
  • We will respond to deletion requests in accordance with applicable law

Enterprise Use

This extension is designed for registered users of the Minded AI platform (app.minded.com) for business workflow automation and documentation purposes.

Security

While we follow generally accepted industry standards to protect personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Addendum

We may update this Chrome Extension Privacy Addendum from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the “Last Updated” date.
