Why we started Minded
We started Minded after years of building technology people had to depend on.
Ohad built the support automation that helped take Roundforest from $20M to $100M ARR in 18 months, after working on fraud prevention at Google and data science at McKinsey. Nadav was Director of AI at Alibaba, where he launched a photos app that reached #1 in China, and at Intel built the world’s first wireless VR headset.
We learned that making something work is one thing. Trusting it with real work is another.
More importantly, the person doing the job usually understands the real problem better than any AI ever could. They know the customers, the edge cases, the context, and what good actually looks like.
So in 2023, we joined Y Combinator to give those people more leverage. Not to replace their judgment, but to help them multiply it.
Because the biggest opportunity in AI is not making people less necessary. It is helping great people do far more of what they are already great at.

We measure ourselves on work actually finished in a customer's queue, not on features announced. All of us talk to customers weekly.
